Training in accordance with Section 4 of the Food Hygiene Regulation (LMHV)

This training course pursuant to § 4 LMHV is mandatory for all persons who work with perishable foodstuffs but do not have vocational training in this field.

It is therefore aimed in particular at career changers who need to learn all the important basic rules for handling perishable foods.

The basis for this obligation under Section 4 LMHV stems from the “EU Basic Hygiene Regulation” (Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs).

Our three online training courses pursuant to Section 4 LMHV are industry-specific:

  • Training for employees of bakeries and pastry shops
  • Training for employees of butcher shops and meat industry businesses
  • Training for employees in kitchens, catering, food service establishments, ice cream parlors, and other food-related industries where perishable foods are processed (e.g., salads, delicatessen products, fish, desserts, dairy products)
